Here is my sshd_config file: # $OpenBSD: sshd_config,v 1.80 2 02:24:18 djm Exp $ I have been playing with the different settings all night and I cannot figure it out. I load the key file into FileZilla under settings/SFTP and try to connect and I get the following error: Disconnected: No supported authentication methods available. I have recreated the key twice double checking with a guide on google, and I am pretty sure I did it correctly. It will not work with a standard SSH connection either. For my tests I have created the keys without password correction. I am using FileZilla to test the SFTP connection as that is the most important. I am using Putty Key Generator to create he keys and I have pasted the key into authorized_keys file and restarted the OpenSSH server. Everything works just fine if I use password authentication. Also, the restart of the SSH server is unnecessary. Code: ssh-keygen -i -f puttykey.pub > sshkey.pub. So you may have skipped the step for converting the public key before uploading to the server. I am trying to setup an RSA Authentication only SSH/SFTP server. PuTTY does not have the right format for its keys. ![]()
